ADAM LIPSIUS

Adam Lipsius’ first feature as a producer and director is “16-LOVE,” which is distributed in the US by Gravitas Ventures & Warner Bros. Digital. Its 12-city day-and-date theatrical launch on January 20th, 2012 resulted in over 140,000 “in theater now” VOD rentals in the film’s first 6 weeks, making it the most successful release in Gravitas Ventures’ history. Additionally, “16-LOVE” was a #1 Sports Download on iTunes (April 27-May 14, 2012), and an iTunes best seller in Comedy, Kids and Romance for over a year. Entertainment One is distributing the movie internationally.

His “Making of ’16-LOVE’” half-hour behind-the-scenes featurette ran on Tennis Channel for months, and “Generations,” a documentary about family businesses in Colorado premiered on Rocky Mountain PBS on January 8th, 2012.

An alumnus of Dartmouth College and USC Graduate School of Cinema-Television where 3 of his student shorts played festivals around the world, he’s received numerous awards for his commercials and films. Lipsius is on the Board of Directors of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver, and Rocky Mountain Public Media. Adam lives in Denver, CO with his wife and kids.
